On the morning of my last chemo treatment my doctor was explaining what changes that I would notice and the things I needed to watch for. I ask her what the time frame was for the cancer to become aggressive again, 18 to 24 months she said, that's a ballpark time frame. In my studies that is when it has shown to become aggressive. So doing the math in my head I looked at Thomas and said, March 2013 to September 2013.
Since March 1 I've been kinda holding my breath and living each day ready for battle. On the morning of September 30th I remembered what the doc said, "Sherry, you always beat the odds and I have no doubt you will beat them again". Yes, I've beat the odds once again. Yes, Yes, Yes.....take that cancer, you're messing with one tough lady.
Taking the needle out for the last time, was an amazing feeling.
