Headed out early this morning for my mammogram......sorry no pictures. Nancy was my nurse. She always takes care of me. I'm glad I get her each time, as she knows what we need to watch for. I have three lymph nodes that we keep an eye on that lay to the side of my breast. These three are easy to see. The others can only be seen with a CT Scan. I scooted up to the machine and got squeezed in and Nancy got her pictures. She looked at me and said, "you need to see this". I walked over and looked at the two computer screens and I wanted to jump up and down. I raised my arms in the air and said, "yea for chemo", losing almost half of my hair, being sick and going through hell some days was worth it. We compared the pictures from the last time and the lymph nodes seemed to be the size of walnuts. I refer to these three as the "islands". They lay just like islands in the tropics. In today's pictures, they looked like there were the size of peas. Wow.....what a blessing. I've been on cloud nine all day. Just another day of me, "Kicking Cancer's Butt".
