On with the show.....
And you move on to the next day. Valentines is in the books and the next day is back to normal with funeral work, birthdays and new born baby's.
Such a beautiful casket spray for a Dad who left this world before he could finish his journey as he had many things left to do. His daughter wanted a "happy" arrangement. Bright and cheerful as she put it. Dad was always happy...so think happy thoughts as you design Dad's flowers.
As for today, it's a "happy" day. The sun is shinning and the snow is melting. Ole man winter is not done with us yet. I'm sure he has more snow and cold temperatures ahead for us. But for today we will enjoy the beautiful sunshine and wade through the snow puddles.
Daddy said he will move some of his snow and it can melt out back behind the shop. He's over this white stuff and he was ready to gas up the lawn mower.
And it's on to the next event along our journey. May our day be filled with joy, happiness and tons of things that make us laugh.....

20th Valentines.....
Can't believe this will be my 20th Valentines Day as a florist. The past few weeks we've been spending time each day to prepare for the "big day". Monday was a long day, I was the last one out of the shop turning out the lights at 7pm.
For a successful day it takes lot of organization and orders must be checked at least three times and notes need to be highlighted. Notes not only guide the designer but the delivery guy as well. Everyone is a spoke on the wheel that makes each holiday a success.
Don't trust your flowers with order takers who ship their flowers in a box that gets thrown on a convener belt then loaded on a truck to be delivered to your door that looks like they were run over by the truck that delivered them. Call your favorite florist (Jubilee Flowers) who takes great pride in designing your loved one a beautiful bouquet. Look at all those boxes...do they look like they care how your flowers look when you open the box. Support your local florist!!!

Doing nothing......
Bert and Ernie enjoying their Sunday afternoon of doing nothing. Much like Thomas and I, we're so over the snow. Might as well cuddle together on the couch and take a nap. Spring where are you.....
